They're the same but I was taught in University Korean class to use 보내세요 since "be a good day" doesn't logically make sense. But who cares

@Why_S0_Sirius hello can u translate this please
“New Year is supposed to be in January 1, which is the first day of the year but we celebrate it beforehand and rest during January 1.It has been our tradition to prepare foods that is said to bring good luck to the upcoming year and the rest of that year. We also wear polka dots shirt or stripes. Every year, we hang pineapples in our doorway. My mother puts a bowl full of an uncooked rice with money in it for more blessings to receive. Going to church is a must and then when at home, eat dinner together. We usually prepare only pork and beef meats because it’s said that chicken meats are bad luck because chicken flies and so is your luck for the upcoming year. Round fruits like, apple, oranges, grapes, watermelon, ponkans, pineapples and pears. Pastas should be present because it will give you a longer life. Some sticky traditional foods like suman, ibus, kalamay hati, and all are also prepared to attract good luck. After dinner, when the clock strikes at exactly 12 am we greet each and everyone a happy new year and say our thank yous and sorrys. Fireworks and horns are also present. We have to make loud noise to let them know that we are welcoming 2019 wholeheartedly and we welcome a colorful year ahead of us. “
