Person is used to refer to an individual and the plural form is people. We can also use peoples to talk about different groups within a nation or the world.

@ettey27 Thank you for your answer. So “people” is a group of person and “peoples” refers to some groups of people?

- Hebrew Near fluent
@1612010411m People refers to any amount. Many groups of people is still considered people, as 'peoples' is not a word.

Thanks.
My textbook says,
“Not knowing about other people‘s cultures and religions has often caused problems between peoples of the world.”
This sentence includes people and peoples. I got confused with differences in them.

If there is an apostrophe ( ' ) this is posessive. When they are saying People's cultures, they mean the culture of a group of people.

@1612010411m To be honest, people don't really use this in day to day speech. You'll probably only come across this word in textbooks or in some documentaries maybe, but when this is used, they are probably talking about people united under a culture or tradition. In all my life of speaking English, I have never had to use this is conversation, so you shouldn't pay too much mind on this word.
