ادارة الاحتلال الفرنسي في بداية القرن المنصرم استغلت لفط " المغرب " الذي كان سابقا يدل على جهة و ليس على بلد و استعمله لتسمية هذه الدولة التي تفرعت من سلطانة مراكش ، لذلك اسم البلد بالفرنسي royaume du Maroc او بالانجليزية kingdom of Morocco او بالأسبانية murrueco كل هذه الاسامي تدل على التسمية الحقيقية و الاصلية اي مروك او مراكش.. لان ابهام دلالة " مغرب " الذي هو اسم جهة او منطقةواسعة تخليك تظن لا وجود لاي دولة خارجة من مملككةالمروك ( مغرب ) اذا قرات كتاب قديم يحكي لك عن بلد المغرب لكن المقصود هى من ليبيا الو الاندلس و موريتانيا و ليس المروك فقط .. التضليل في استعمال لفظ مغرب لتسمية المروك خلاهم يتعصبوا و إلى احتكار تسمية المغرب الى درجة بعض جهال الزريبة يظنون ان " صلاة المغرب " هي صلاة يصلوها مسلمي العالم لحمد " امير المومنين ملك المغرب".. تخيل لو دويلة تسمي نفسها مملكة المشرق او مملكة شام و تستثني الدول المجاورة باستعمال هذا اللفظ
