@icantiamo4535 Hi )) It has been a few days now since I first heard you speak English and I am extremely curious... how on Earth did you, especially considering that your mothertongue belongs to a different language family, grasped English phonetics so impeccably with aspiration, intonation, and all other nuances? In all fairness, you sound more English than the vast majority of the English. Listening you is a pure joy. And this is not me being smarmy. Also, I have never heard Italians sound native in English. I am dumbfounded. This is a huge accomplishment! My brother and I are truly impressed and we are hard to impress. My question is both an easy and a tricky one: what did you do to achieve this level of the English sound.Honestly, the Standard (Queen's) English is only spoken by about 4% of the British population and you definitely fall into this minority. A respect from both me and my brother!

First off, wow! I’m just so grateful and thankful… it was a massive pleasure to listen to all these tapes in a row. When I speak about my passion for this language, English people are always so uninterested.
Your English is so melodic and you have such a smooth voice and listening to you speaking English is like listening to a song, I’m being honest!
You have said so many things that I’d like to answer, but unfortunately I a 10-second limit for recording tapes.
It relieves me that there are people like you around who are passionate about languages and culture in general.
It’d be absolutely lovely to have a whole conversation with you or to record longer voice messages, but I can’t see how on this app. I don’t have the premium thing that allows you to record longer messages anymore. Gabrielle, many thanks for your kind words! I am trying to do my best to re-vive my English. Ironically, I lost a good part of it after I had moved to the UK :-D.
You are absolutely right, the English could not care about their language less, and abuse it in any way possible. They do not even bother pronouncing words properly. To hear a decent English speech one has to either watch a period drama, read the classical literature or converse with those living in Cambridge, Bath, Oxford, Bath, etc.
Interestingly, the English people (and those were the educated ones) were surprised to hear about the English phrasal verbs, sentence construction, and other facts about their grammar and phonetics as something new to them, as they (and I am citing them), "have never been taught phonetics and grammar at school. I was shocked.
And yes, I totally agree with you, the 10-sec voice recordings are rather irritating :-) Still, I am grateful to creator's of this platform for the sheer opportunity of meeting people like you.

I am so happy to hear that you do indeed teach English to Italians! That is a perfect opportunity for you to share your passion for English and learning in general. It would not be fair to keep such a talent to yourself :-D! I am certain your parents are proud about you. You excel yourself constantly.
I would also feel privileged and gratfeul to you for some advice on Italian (do not worry, I will not pester you much), which... I used to ... teach (the beginner's level when I was 25, i.e. almost 17 years ago )))))).

@icantiamo4535 it means being very involved. a hands on approach is like being submerged in something so you get actual experience not just watching or reading or something.
