“midnight”
yes it sounds good!
this is my opinion, but I would recommend adding how frequently you are going home late because that is how the first part of the sentence is phrased. Because you use the word “lately”, which indicates this has been occurring/happening over a certain period of time, I want to know how often, in that time period, you are going home late. does it happen every night? once a week? often? sometimes? frequently? every once in a while?
Work has been demanding lately, so I have been going home at midnight every night/frequently/once a week/often.
Work has been demanding lately, so I often go home at midnight.
Work has been demanding lately, so every night I go home at midnight.
overall, your sentence is fine and makes sense, but this sentence is phrased as a “frequency” statement, so I would recommend stating how frequently you are doing something.

Ah, it makes sence. I should tell how often. Thank you for the feedback. Arigato as always. 🙏🏼😄🙏🏼.
