this question is less specific
I might ask this to friend who is returning from a vacation
"when will you come by?"
this version is used when someone is coming for a limited amount of time.
For example if a friend needs to borrow something and I ask when they will be at my house to get it.
here is another version:
"I will come, by 3pm"
in this final version I am saying that I will come before or at 3pm
