What is the difference between Oh, you see some flowers? Let's go check it out. and Oh, you see some flowers? Let's go check them out. ?Feel free to just provide example sentences.
I heard the first sentence. However, I think the second one is also possible because I've heard many times people say "check them out" when they talk about something plural.
As far as I researched, "check it out" is an idiom used to direct someone's attention to something.
As in "Check it out—they've got that new book in stock."
Also, "check out something" means to investigate, inspect, or look at something of interest.
So in the first sentence, "it" isn't really mean anything, whereas in the second sentence, "them" mean flowers?

「Oh, you see some flowers? Let's go check it out.」と「Oh, you see some flowers? Let's go check them out.」の違いは、代名詞の使い方です。
「it」は単数形の代名詞であり、一つの物や概念を指します。つまり、一つの花や花壇を指す場合に使用します。
例: "Oh, you see some flowers? Let's go check it out."(ああ、花を見つけたの?見に行こう。)
一方、「them」は複数形の代名詞であり、複数の物や概念を指します。つまり、複数の花や花壇を指す場合に使用します。
例: "Oh, you see some flowers? Let's go check them out."(ああ、花を見つけたの?見に行こう。)
このように、「it」は単数形、一つの物を指す際に使用し、「them」は複数形、複数の物を指す際に使用します。

Both of them describe the same situation, but the difference between the two sentences is what the pronoun in the second sentence is referring back to. In "Let's go check them out," the pronoun "them" is referring to the flowers. In "Let's go check it out," "it" can't refer to the flowers, because "it" is singular and the flowers are plural, so "it" instead refers to the area where the flowers are, or the entire situation that involves the flowers.
