週末「は」とすると、一緒に遊ぶことではなく、「週末」が主語になってしまうので、不自然に聞こえると思います。週末「に」一緒に遊ばない？であれば自然です。

ねえねえ、夏に一緒に旅行に行かない？は自然です。
ねえねえ、夏さぁ、一緒に旅行に行かない、とも言えます。（友だち同士の話し言葉）
