Hey! My name is David! I am a student at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and I'm majoring in creative writing and international studies. I study Japanese there, also!

I started Japanese, because I like anime, but after visiting Japan this summer I have learned that there is so much more. The food is amazing. The culture is beautiful, deep, and emotionally connected with the earth and the history of the people. I have gained an even greater respect for this language and its origin. I really hope to go back soon!
