The singular is "woman" and the plural is "women."
"Lady" is the feminine equivalent of "lord" or "gentleman" and is not used much in contemporary US English. It means that the woman is upper-class.
"Female" should only be used in a medical context or when talking about animals. Referring to women as "females" in normal conversation is considered rude and will make you sound like a Ferengi from Star Trek.

Woman is more general, lady is somewhat less common and technically more polite but can be seen as condescending , female refers to the scientific term more than being used with a person

woman (singular), women (plural) - common word used to refer to a female human.
"lady" is another word for woman.
e.g. "I know that woman." = "I know that lady."... "I know those women."(plural).
female is the opposite of male. it can also be used to refer to humans, but it is also the biological term used for any creature that has two sexes, so it has a more clinical/scientific usage. I would not use the word female in the above sentences.
