Question about English (US)
Is this acceptable for an RPG dialogue? No need to consider their personalities.
Title: Consuming Wildfire
Sorceress: If you learn a spell, Consuming Wildfire, for example, you can attack all your opponents at once. You can’t cast the spell too often though, because it’ll cost you a lot of MP. I’m petty sure it’ll be helpful, however.

I'm not sure about the use of "a/the" at the beginning. Has the sorceress talked about spells before? If she has, then it would be "the." If she hasn't, then it would be "a."

@Aoki_Games Then I think it would be "If you learn a spell, for example Consuming Wildfire,"

I just found that the word order is changed depending on whether or not the sorceress has talked about spells. Is this correct?
If she has, “If you learn the spell Consuming Wildfire for example,”
If she hasn’t, “If you learn a spell, for example Consuming Wildfire,”

@Aoki_Games You can use 'for example' in either order. I switched them without thinking. Oops, that's my bad.

That is, you mean that each of them is correct?
“If you learn the spell, for example, Consuming Wildfire,”
“If you learn a spell, Consuming Wildfire, for example,”

@Aoki_Games I mean "If you learn a spell, for example..." and "If you learn a spell, ... for example," are both correct. Using "a" here would be correct because the Sorceress has not talked about spells until now.
I'm really sorry for the confusion. I'm very tired right now 🙏😭
