La primera parte suena confusa, una traducción literal podría ser "La métrica por la que juzgan en el trabajo". En la mayoría de casos, "The thing they (verb) by" se traduce a "La cosa por la que (verbo)".
A parte de eso, el resto de la frase está perfecta 👍
