Questions about example sentences with, and the definition and usage of "Here"

A: Example conversation. "You look like you have been busy shopping, where did you go?"

This means they went to many, but an unspecified number of stores.

A: It's an informal away of saying that you're leaving or you are going.
Example:
Right I'm off now - I'm going now/ I'm leaving now.

A: The subject "IT" refers to something that you or someone else knows before.
Example:
I'm here for the test, and after you can say I'm here for it(the test)
Replacing the test = it;

These are just a couple of the variations you could use. Some of these expressions you'll learn from books or movies. The most famous one "Here's looking at you" is from the classic movie Casablanca (1942).

A: “From here on in, you’re going to be doing things differently.”
With this phrase I hear “from here on out” more often, but basically it’s a phrase used when you’re going to make a change starting today :)

There is another pointing of a sort.

Right there is a specific spot you are talking about.

Over there (I accidentally answered in the first reply) I meant to answer over here.

So over here would be in a situation where you are moving to show them something. like "I dropped my phone right over here" then they walk over to that spot. Over there is a pointing thing.

A: “Up here” would only make sense if you’re physically higher than the other person, like from a window above, upstairs, up a tree, etc. There’s also “down here” when you’re lower than the other person, like in the basement, down a hole or even just on the ground.

“Over here” is more general, can be used from anywhere.

A: I think "I'm here on" talks about what you are doing while "I'm here for" talks about the purpose why you are there.

Example:
I am here on a business trip with my boss.
I am here for work and not for vacation.

A: l’m here

A: We would say “there” instead of “to here”. Here and there.

I am staying there.

So instead of “to here”, drop the letter O in to and change to there.
