However, there's a usage of "acquired taste" meaning it's something you grow accustomed to and develop a taste for. For example we can say coffee is an acquired taste, because not everyone likes it, and when trying it for the first time most people only find it bitter, but then people can grow to like it and develop a taste for it. For this, you cannot say it's an "obtained taste" to mean the same thing.
