Questions about example sentences with, and the definition and usage of "Http"

A: Mother Teresa is the name of this woman, which I think you know.

This means "The hardest Mother Theresa quote (to hear)..."

But you're right to wonder -- it's not clear what makes it a hard quote. Was the quote written in stone? 😂

Maybe it is the hardest to understand? That's possible, but the type of quote is easy to understand, it might just be difficult to accept.

I have to assume that this is what "hard" is describing.

A: playing touchy feely = a cutesy way of saying having physical contact

It's like you've learned it and a bomb went off in your brain, and you can hardly believe it's true.

"was tackled himself" is the same as "was tackled". The reason for this reflexive pronoun is that it emphasizes something surprising.

"He lifted this bag himself."
"He got suspended from school himself."

It also shows that he was the reason it happened. A little bit of blame too.

All the official SVB social media accounts link to https://www.svb.com, and you can access their terms of service and privacy policy easily. https://www.svb.com looks like the official one. I'm not sure what the first one is.

A: We'd call it a smock. It was common in the US as toddler's clothes maybe 100 years ago, but not now. Smock can also mean something you wear over your clothes to protect yourself when painting, so make sure the person you're talking to doesn't get the two confused!

A: I think the lyrics are referring to not letting your "fairweather friends" get into your head. So "don't let [th]em in your head" means something like 'don't be fooled by them / don't let them fool you" or "don't let them control the way you think." For example:

B: Don't listen to her, you're letting her get into your head! She's just trying to make you feel bad.

It’s a Scottish accent and ‘nae’ is a common way of making a negative.

Should nae = shouldn’t
